Characteristics:
Silicaid® 101FG is a grease-like silicone compound with excellent lubrication properties between Potting-materials (plastics, rubbers etc.) to themselves or other materials.
Silicaid® 101FG was specially developed for use in the food and drugs processing.
Silicaid® 101FG is formulated to meet the requirement of FDA 21 CFR 173.340 and 175.300 and it may be used safely in the food and its allied industries.
Applications:
Silicaid® 101FG was specifically designed to lubricate O-rings and mechanical parts of water system in the food industry.
Other uses:
- As lubricant for metal-plastic and metal-rubber system.
- As release agent in the plastic & rubber manufacturing.
- As sealing compound for rubber, plastic & fiber seals.
- As protective coatings of O-rings & rubber parts.

Soluble in aliphatic, aromatic and chlorinated

Service temp. (range °C) . . . . . . . : -40°C to 150°C (for long periods).
Shelf Life:
Silicaid® 101FG has a shelf life of minimum 12 months if stored in tightly closed original container.
How to Use:
Silicaid® 101FG can be applied by brushing or wiping.
Safety Instructions:
Although Silicones are particularly inert physiologically and appear to be essentially non-toxic, temporary discomfort may be produced from eye contact with them.
